We will not invent a roof rating to close a sale.
A visual, a VIN decode, or a generic rack rating does not establish a safe fit. The builder is allowed to be incomplete. Checkout is not.
Loads
Travel mass includes the rack, tent, awning, mounts, and gear the rack is holding. Compare that mass with the lowest applicable limit, on the rating basis the manufacturer actually published. A tent floor rated for parked people is not the vehicle’s roof rating. Do not multiply a dynamic rating to invent a static one. Payload still includes people, water, and every accessory.
Clearance
Tent bars need the right width, thickness, spread, and bolt pattern. Doors, antennas, ladders, and the tailgate need room. An awning needs a side, a bracket that can take the moment, and a wind plan. The 270-degree awning is not a styling option on top of the 99057 hard shell.
Power
Nameplate watt-hours are not a weekend of runtime. Factory leads come first. A hardwired battery harness is not in the base kit.
