Identity is not fitment.
The builder asks NHTSA vPIC which models exist for a make and year. A match means the name is in that federal list. It does not mean a tent, rack, or awning is safe on that vehicle.
What can check out
One combination is load-checked: a 2024–2026 Tacoma, midsize pickup, 5-foot bed, no bed cover, Weekend Camp, with the cited tent, awning, and rack. The counted cargo is 164 lb against the rack maker’s 400 lb dynamic rating. Every other vehicle with a matching reference kit can still be paid for. That payment is a fit check, and the price is refunded in full if the kit does not fit.
What stays a quote
- A parts list that does not match Weekend Camp, Trail Comfort, or Extended Camp.
- An SUV, because the reference racks are pickup bed bars.
- A full-size truck using a Tacoma rack citation.
- A body style you are unsure about.
What is refused
Tent 99057 with awning 99047 is incompatible in Rough Country’s own product notes. The quote form will not accept that pair.
