Anza-Borrego is a state park with rules, not a kit feature.
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park manages much of the desert reached from Temecula. Washes, sand, and seasonal closures change what a vehicle should attempt. A rooftop tent does not grant access. Read the park’s current conditions, then quote your truck. Our kits are equipment lists, not a desert approval.
What to read before you go
Use the State Parks page for road legality, camping rules, and seasonal wildlife closures. Soft sand and a long wash are a vehicle problem and a recovery problem. We do not sell recovery gear inside the three kits, and we do not provide a recovery service.
What the kit still has to survive
Highway speeds on the way there are a dynamic-load problem. Heat in the desert is a fridge and power problem, not a watt-hour slogan. If the tent, rack, and awning exceed the published driving limit, leave the tent off the roof.
Questions
Do you publish a trail difficulty score?
No. Difficulty scores on forums are not an official rating, and we will not invent one.
Will a kit be delivered before a weekend?
Only if the parts are actually in stock and freight is real. The planning range is not a promise, and an unvalidated truck cannot check out.
