An overland kit for a Toyota Tundra starts as a quote.

A Toyota Tundra can be entered as a full-size pickup, and vPIC can confirm the name for a year. The 2007–2021 generation and the 2022-and-later generation do not share a bed. Kit racks that cite a Tacoma do not become Tundra racks. We refund in full if it does not fit.

What we can say today

Use the full-size pickup silhouette. CrewMax and Double Cab change how much bed is behind the cab. Measure it.

Why this is a fit check

A heavier full-size truck does not get a higher roof rating by assumption. The limit is whatever the rack and Toyota published for that mounting style. Weekend Camp, Trail Comfort, and Extended Camp are approved prices ($6,695, $8,495, and $12,695) for those parts lists. Only a 2024–2026 Tacoma with a 5-foot open bed and Weekend Camp is load-checked today. Any other vehicle can still be paid for, and we refund in full if it does not fit. Installation is coming soon — BAR registration pending — and is not for sale.

Load-checked for checkout?Only a 2024–2026 Tacoma, 5-foot bed, no cover, Weekend Camp. Other vehicles can be paid with a full refund if they do not fit.
Does a Tacoma rack citation transfer? No. A 2007–2021 bed and a 2022-and-later bed are different, and neither is a Tacoma bed.
Can the approved price be charged?Yes, when the parts match a reference kit. We refund in full if it does not fit. This page is not a load check.

Questions

Is a Tundra close enough to a Tacoma?

No. They are different trucks. A Tacoma citation stays on the Tacoma.

Are both Tundra generations validated?

No. They are research cohorts, not approvals.
